Chilean 4G lines climb 18% to 19.9 mln

The number of 4G connections in Chile rose 18.3 percent year on year to just shy of 20 million at the end of July, according to the latest update from telecommunications regulator Subtel. The watchdog said 4G accesses grew by 3.1 million over the 12-month period to reach 19.9 million, with total connections (3G + 4G) coming to 21.7 million, up 13.6 percent year on year.
