Chilean operators to exchange unauthorised set-top boxes

Chilean Operators VTR and Telefonica del Sur have agreed to exchange up to 900,000 set-top boxes that fail to meet national certification standards if customers ask them to, the government's consumer authority Sernac said. Following a mediation process with Sernac, both companies also agreed to compensate affected clients with free video content.
