Chilean ported numbers near 14 million since 2012

A total of 13.94 million mobile and fixed numbers have been ported in Chile since the introduction of number portability in January 2012, according to the latest update from telecommunications regulator Subtel. February's results saw low-cost operator WOM lose the top spot in the monthly mobile rankings for the first team in 15 months, with Entel adding a net total of 30,534 users, just ahead of WOM with 28,388 and VTR with 2,838. The operators mostly benefited from Claro, which posted a negative net portability figure of -56,573.
