Chilean ported numbers top 18 million since 2012

A total of 18.10 million mobile and fixed numbers have been ported in Chile since the introduction of number portability in January 2012, according to the latest update from telecommunications regulator Subtel. The results for March 2019 saw low-cost operator WOM continue to top the monthly mobile rankings after adding a net total of 46,682 lines, well ahead of VTR with 3,915 and Virgin Mobile with 3,103. The operators mostly benefited from MNOs Entel, Claro and Movistar, which posted negative net portability figures of -29,276, -11,363 and -11,032 respectively.
