Chileans spend over 4 hours daily on their smartphones

Movistar Chile has published the results of a survey that shows Chileans are spending over 4 hours per day on their smartphones. Women spend 4.30 hours while men spend 4.46 hours. Out of the total time, Chileans spend 1.50 hour per day on social networks and browse the internet for 1.02 hour per day. They spend signicantly less time on instant messaging apps like WhatsApp or Facebook Messenger (27 minutes) and streaming services like YouTube, Napster or Spotify (23 minutes). The survey analysed the mobile browsing habits of 500,000 users.
