Chile's VTR confirms replacement of TVI Group channels

Monday 16 May 2016 | 14:30 CET | News
Chilean pay-TV operator VTR has confirmed that it will be removing the channels Zona Latina, Via X and ARTV after TVI Group rejected its third and final offer to maintain the channels on its lineup. VTR said it offered to keep the signals on its lineup at the contracted price but TVI refused the possibility for a third time, resulting in court proceedings that found in favour of VTR. The pay-TV operator will now replace TVI's channels with Sundance Channel, BBC Entertainment HD, Paramount Channel and Nat Geo Wild at no extra cost to subscribers.
