Chile's VTR planning to reach 5 mln accesses by 2025

Chilean operator VTR (Liberty Latin America) has announced plans to expand its fixed broadband with a view to reaching 5 million accesses by 2025. The company, which is due to merge with America Movil's Claro Chile unit next year, said it has connected 400,000 premises in 42 locations throughout the country in 2021 alone following an investment of USD 40 million and intends to connect a further 1.5 million next year.
