Chile's WOM adds 50,000 more mobile clients in April

A total of 357,010 Chilean numbers were ported in April, up 8 percent year on year, bringing the total number of mobile and fixed lines ported since January 2012 to 14.64 million. The latest update from telecommunications regulator Subtel saw low-cost operator WOM add a net total of 54,070 users in April, well ahead of VTR and Entel with 5,222 and 4,383 net additions respectively. The operators mostly benefited from Claro, which posted a negative net portability figure of -51,302, said Subtel.
