China cloud infrastructure spend jumps 65% to USD 5 billion in Q3

Cloud infrastructure services spend in China jumped by 65 percent in the third quarter of this year to top USD 5 billion for the first time. Total expenditure exceeded USD 750 million, up by USD 2 billion year-on-year, according to a report from Canalys. The study also shows that, in dollar terms, this year's third quarter saw the largest quarterly expansion ever recorded, as consumption of cloud services remained robust.
