China ends Q3 with 489 mln mobile internet subs

China ended the third quarter with 489 mobile internet service subscribers, up 4.3 percent from the second quarter and up 22.3 percent from the same period last year. Furthermore, mobile internet revenues totalled CNY 39.5 billion, up 6.7 percent sequentially and 81.2 percent year-on-year, The Digitimes reports citing research by Analysys International. Monthly access fees contributed 29 percent to the total mobile internet service revenues in Q3, apps and value-added services added 24.6 percent, while mobile shopping added 42.4 percent of revenues, and advertising services generated 4
