China Mobile, 11 partners launch 5G Joint Innovation Center

China Mobile has introduced its 5G Joint Innovation Center project at the GTI Summit 2016, which was held during the World Mobile Congress (WMC) on 23 February. China Mobile jointly launched the China Mobile 5G Joint Innovation Center with 11 partners. The operator also announced its business targets of reaching 1.40 million TD-LTE base stations, selling 330 million 4G devices and expanding the 4G subscriber base to over 500 million by end-2016.
