China Mobile Hong Kong (CMHK), in partnership with Ericsson, has completed a live demonstration of LTE-A FDD+TDD three-component carriers (3CC) carrier aggregation. The two companies demonstrated the applications available for a converged LTE-A FDD/TDD 4G combined network, and achieved a peak download speed of 272 Mbps in a FDD+TDD 3CC LTE-A network.
