China Telecom, Ubitus team up to build cloud gaming

Cloud computing platform provider Ubitus has signed an agreement with China Telecom in to deliver cloud gaming on connected TVs in China. The service is expected to launch in 1 October during the Chinese Golden week holiday. China Telecom and Ubitus will initially collaborate with Skyworth, Konka and LG to demonstrate the HD gaming service over cloud at the 2012 Tianyi (E-surfing) 3G Handset Fair. Visitors can experience a library of game titles, including fighting, racing, sport games, RPG, FPS and casual games. There will also be daily tournaments of Super Street Fighter 4 AE.
