China to extend gigabit broadband to over 300 cities in 2019

A Chinese State Council executive meeting decided to extend gigabit broadband connections to more than 300 cities and lower average prices of services for SMBs by 15 percent in 2019, according to online publication Globaltimes.cn. The move's aim is to achieve multiplier effects of expanding domestic demand, boosting employment and improving people's lives.
