China's m-payment market jumps 800% in 2013

China's mobile payment market in 2013 grew 800.3 percent year-on-year with overall transactions hitting CNY 1.30 trillion. The increase was driven by general transfers and credit card payments, especially through Alipay and Lakala, according to Analysys International. Alipay led the market with a 69.6 percent share, followed by Lakala with 17.8 percent, and Tenpay with a 3.3 percent share of the market.
