China's mobile internet revenues grew 84.2% in 2012

Mobile internet access revenues in China rose to CNY 158.8 billion last year, up 84.2 percent year-on-year. Meanwhile mobile internet users rose by 30.1 percent to 561.20 million, the Digitimes writes citing a report by Analysys International. Revenues are forecast to rise 50.1 percent this year to CNY 238.3 billion, to CNY 330.5 billion in 2014, and to CNY 429.6 billion in 2015. This year, the mobile internet user base is expected to hit 658.95 million, up17.4 percent year-on-year, and is forecast to grow to 748.96 million next year, and to 824.62 in 2015.
