Chorus 6-month profit grow to NZD 31 mln, ups 2020 EBITDA guidance

New Zealand operator Chorus has reported a net profit after tax of NZD 31 million for the half year ending 31 December 2019, up from NZD 30 million in the year-earlier period. EBITDA amounted to NZD 332 million for the half year period, up from NZD 318 million the year before. EBITDA growth was achieved through a combination of operating cost reductions and strong broadband connections growth, Chorus said.
