Chorus adds 11,000 broadband lines in Q3

New Zealand fixed-line network operator Chorus has provided its quarterly connections update for third fiscal quarter ending 31 March 2015. The operator reports that total fixed line connections increased by 1,000 to over 1.783 million, while the number of broadband connections increased by 11,000 lines, or 1 percent, to 1.197 million at 31 March. The Chorus UFB communal build is now 40 percent complete with 439,000 end-users now able to connect to Chorus UFB.
