Chorus broadband network traffic jumps 65% to 1.65Tbps on 24 March

Wednesday 25 March 2020 | 16:34 CET | News
New Zealand operator Chorus has announced that the midday traffic on the Chorus network reached 1.65Tbps on 24 March. This represents a 65 percent increase on the baseline level of a week ago and up from 1.37 Tbps on 23 March. Chorus reports that this increase reflects the growth in the number of people now remote working and that school children are online at home.
