CHT to invest in digital gaming startup 4Gamers

Chunghwa Telecom plans to participate in the B-round fund-raising of Taiwan-based digital gaming startup 4Gamers, writes online publication DigiTimes.com. CHT and 4Gamers will jointly promote the exports of Taiwan's e-sports industry and also hope to create an e-sports ecosystem in the Southeast Asia region. Created in 2013, 4Gamers is currently the largest e-sports integrated marketing company in Taiwan. Existing investors include the Alibaba Group, Taiwan Entrepreneurs Fund and CDIB Capital.
