Chunghwa Telecom revenue up 4% to TWD 50 bln in Q1

Chunghwa Telecom saw its total revenue increase by 4.1 percent to TWD 50.10 billion in the first quarter. Mobile revenue increased by 4.0 percent to TWD 23.44 billion, mainly due to the increase in handset sales, which was offset by the decrease in mobile service revenue due to the impact of Covid-19 and VoIP substitution. Also, internet revenue increased by 1.6 percent to TWD 7.63 billion.
