Chunghwa Telecom wins smart city contracts from govt

Taiwanese operator Chunghwa Telecom has won smart city contracts with 15 local governments across the country, DigiTimes reports. Based on each local government's policies and planning goals for urban development, Chunghwa Telecom will provide smart city services and/or make recommendations regarding smart city development. The operator plans to add 600,000 subscribers over the next three years through cooperation with the 15 local governments.
