CIF confirms EUR 100 mln investment in fibre roll-out

Dutch operator CIF has finalised its roll-out plans for the coming year and said it will invest EUR 100 million in expanding its fibre network. It expects to connect a total 32,000 households in rural and outlying areas. Demand aggregation campaigns are planned in areas of Vechtdal, Foodvalley, Achterhoek, O-gen (Utrecht), Brabant, Veluwe and Zuid-Oost Twente. A minimum 50 percent of targeted residents need to sign up for services for the roll-outs to go ahead.
