Cine.Ar Play viewers up over 300% in Argentina

Wednesday 15 April 2020 | 11:25 CET | News
Argentina's state-owned satellite operator Arsat announced that the Cine.ar Play video-on-demand (VOD) platform it runs with the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) posted a 306 percent surge in new users last month due above all to the country's coronavirus lockdown. A total of 72,531 new users signed up to the service in March, up 306 percent compared to the 17,851 who subscribed in February, while the number of hours viewed were up 156 percent on the previous month, said Arsat.
