Cisco contributes to free Wi-Fi for Michigan communities

Free community Wi-Fi has been introduced at 50 public sites across South East Michigan, in Detroit, Inkster, Flint and Washtenaw County, as part of Merit Network's Michigan Moonshot initiative. The programme is supported by contributions from the Toyota USA Foundation and Cisco. Washtenaw Intermediate School District and Merit Network provided in-kind contributions for the project.
