Cisco and the Manchester Science Partnerships (MSP) have opened a new post-accelerator centre in Manchester's innovation district to help digital technology start-ups grow and drive co-innovation between businesses, academia and the government in the north of England.

The Mi-IDEA centre will provide start-ups with access to opportunities for new business, product development, partnerships, finance and talent. It is already housing six start-ups including IoT data capture, monitor and analysis specialist Hark; and video content discovery platform Wattl. It is part of the global network of Cisco innovation centres.
