Cisco's Milan lab signs up to GSMA Open IoT Lab Initiative

Cisco announced that its Milan Innovation Centre (MIC) has joined the GSMA's Open IoT Lab initiative. Located in Vimercate on the outskirts of Milan, MIC has recently enhanced its resources to support Cisco Ultra IoT, which expands the capabilities of the company's Ultra Services Platform to support and be fully compliant with the 3GPP Mobile IoT architecture, including support for licensed LPWA network access (LTE-M and NB-IoT). As a member of the GSMA Open IoT Lab programme, Cisco said the MIC will provide lab access and services to IoT service providers, component and device manufacturers,
