Citrix completes acquisition of Sanbolic

Citrix completed its acquisition of Sanbolic, a provider of workload-oriented storage virtualisation technologies. Sanbolic technology enables customers to software-define storage to optimise the delivery of application-specific workloads, from any media type (SSD, Flash and hard drives in NAS, SAN, server-side and cloud deployments). In related news, Citrix appointed Carlos Sartorius as senior vice president, Worldwide Sales and Services, reporting to Citrix president and CEO, Mark Templeton.
