Citrix to shed more jobs in new plan as Q4 profit slides

Citrix has announced a new restructuring programme for this year which will affect 700 FTEs and 200 contractor positions. The company said the plan will increase its strategic focus and operational efficiency and that it will result in annualized pre-tax savings of around USD 90 million-100 million. Citrix expects to take pre-tax charges of USD 40-45 million related to employee severance arrangements and USD 9-10 million related to the consolidation of leased facilities during fiscal year 2015. Citrix reported fourth quarter revenues up 6 percent from the year before to USD 851 million. The
