City of London approves standard wayleave agreement

The City of London has published a standardised wayleave agreement for access to buildings and property. The template is expected to make it easier for broadband operators to gain access to homes and offices in order to install connections and deliver services to customers faster. The wayleave covers details on access, installation and maintenance of network equipment in existing and new buildings. The legal toolkit developed by the Land Law Committee and the City of London Corporation was subject to a consultation process with stakeholders including London's main property developers,
