City of London launches free Wi-Fi project with O2

Cornerstone Telecommunications Infrastructure (CTIL) has won a 15-year contract to roll-out and manage the City of Londons new mobile network, together with O2 UK. The City of London announced the deal, saying it will deliver a free, public access Wi-Fi network within the Square Mile and that the multi million pound project will be one of the largest investments in mobile infrastructure ever seen in London. No further financial details were provided.
