CityFibre confirms Bristol as new Gigabit city

UK fibre infrastructure provider CityFibre has signed an agreement with Somerset business ISP Triangle Networks as its launch partner for the network it has agreed to acquire from Kcom Group in Bristol. The deal with Triangle, which is conditional on completion of the acquisition, is for a minimum of 100 committed business connections on the 82-KM network in Bristol and surrounding area. The 6-year deal has a total contract value (TCV) of GBP 1.54 million. Bristol will be being the first new Gigabit City launched on CityFibre's acquired footprint.

Bristol is already a Smart City with a world class digital infrastructure. CityFibre aims to connect a few business customers through resellers which won’t benefit the residents of Bristol.
