Claro Brasil to launch first dedicated IoT network in Q2

Claro Brasil will launch the first two dedicated IoT networks at the beginning of the second quarter of 2019, said Embratel's IoT business director Eduardo Polidoro, reports Teletime. The LTE CAT-M and NarrowBand IoT (NB-IoT) standards will be used. By the end of the year, the coverage of both networks must reach 100 percent of national territory.
