Claro Colombia adds 19 more cities to fibre-optic network

Claro Colombia (America Movil) has added a total of 19 cities to its fibre-optic network, bringing total coverage to 110 cities across the country, reports local daily La Republica, citing the company's CEO Carlos Zenteno. In spite of Covid-19 restrictions, over the past 6 months the operator has managed to activate fibre services in the cities of Caqueza, Villeta, Pacho and La Mesa (Cundinamarca), Quimbaya, Montenegro, Calarca, Circasia and La Tebaida (Quindio), Barbosa, Apartado and Girardota (Antioquia), La Virginia and Belen de Umbria (Risaralda) Viterbo and Anserma (Caldas), Guamo
