Claro Colombia revenues up 8.0% to COP 2.8 tln in Q1

America Movil's unit Claro Colombia reported an 8.0 percent year-on-year increase in revenues to COP 2.8 trillion in the first quarter after adding 232,000 mobile subscribers since 31 December. Mobile revenues were up 7.1 percent to COP 2.2 trillion while fixed line revenues rose 12.9 percent year-on-year to COP 561 billion and now account for 20 percent of the operator's total sales. The addition of 232,000 subscribers brought Claro's mobile customer base to 29.2 million by the end of March, 5.6 percent more than the year before. The company's postpaid base increased by 90,000 in the quarter
