Claro gets USD 31.6 mln FCC funds for broadband expansion

Puerto Rico's Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has awarded Claro USD 31.6 million to boost the expansion of its broadband network to unserved areas across the country. The funds are part of FCC's Connect America Fund. The project will provide broadband connection for over 40,700 unserved households and businesses in Puerto Rico.
