Cloudflare starts testing new secure DNS standard with operators

Cloudflare announced support for Oblivious DNS over HTTPS, or (ODoH), a new proposed DNS standard co-authored by engineers from Cloudflare, Apple and Fastly. According to the company, the new standard makes it far more difficult for internet providers to know which websites internet end-users visit. It separates IP addresses from DNS queries, so that no single entity can see both at the same time.
