Cloudflare to allow clients to route traffic through 100% renewables-powered data centres

Cloudflare said it has launched a new service enabling its clients to route traffic through data centres powered by renewable energy only. Green Compute on Cloudflare Workers will permit businesses to quantify their individual internet carbon footprints and calculate savings in comparison to internet averages. Cloudflare claims its network accounts for 17 percent of the entire internet.
