Clydesale and Yorkshire Banks have seen its customers use the Paym mobile payments system for over 33,000 payments worth over GBP 4.6 million in the two seeks since launch on 18 November. Black Friday accounted for a quarter of all transactions by value. Paym allows customers to make up to GBP 300 payments from their smartphone to anyone registered with Paym using only their phone number. The banks' new mobile banking apps for Android and iOS integrating Paym have been downloaded by over 50,000 customers and more than 30,000 have registered the Paym service so far, exceeding expectations the
