CNMC to probe Orange Spain fixed porting irregularities

Spain's telecoms regulator CNMC has announced an investigation into possible irregularities committed by Orange in the porting of fixed lines. According to the regulator, Orange was guilty of a repeated refusal to process requests to port 26 fixed lines between December 2013 and February 2014. The investigation follows a complaint lodged by Dialoga Servicios Interactivos. Although the infringement cannot be categorised as "very serious", due to the relatively low number of maximum cases, the CNMC said it could still fine Orange up to EUR 500,000 for allegedly failing to port the numbers. In a
