CNNum opens public consultation on internet, digital economy

France's advisory digital council, the Conseil National du Numerique (CNNum), has launched a public consultation to address the social and economic challenges connected to digital transformation. The consultation covers topics such as digitising the government, boosting economic growth by increasing SMEs' use of the internet, regulation of internet companies and guarantees for personal privacy. A website has been opened for members of the public to contribute their opinions. The move comes as France starts to work on new digital legislation for next year.
