CNT builds data centres in Quito and Guayaquil

Ecuador's National Telecommunications Corporation (CNT) has started construction of two large data centres, near the earth stations at Quito and Guayaquil. At the moment, the project is in the construction phase, with just over half the investment of USD 36 million completed. The new data centres will enable CNT to expand infrastructure for customers, ensuring the availability of existing services and strengthening new services offered, such as VAS, cloud computing, managed IT services, unified communications (collaboration, messaging, presence), processing and virtual storage, applications,
