Co-op tests 'scan & go' mobile payment system with Mastercard

UK retailer Co-op is piloting a new 'shop, scan and go' initiative at the Co-store at its support centre in Manchester. This pay-in-the-aisle system allows shoppers to use their own phone to purchase goods with a Co-op mobile app built with Mastercard's MasterPass secure digital payments technology.
