CoE offers rural churches to help broadband roll-out

The Church of England has offered the use of 10,000 rural churches to help complete the roll-out of high-speed broadband to the final 5 percent of homes, The Guardian has learned. WiSpire, a company owned by the CoE, already provides wireless broadband services in rural Norfolk using equipment installed on 47 churches. A C of E spokeswoman said it was working on guidelines for its dioceses.
