Colombia launches new USD 60 mln call to connect low-income homes

Colombia's Ministry of Information Technology and Communications (Mintic) has launched a new public tender to bring internet to over 200,000 low-income homes in 76 municipalities all over the country. The ARS 192 billion (around USD 60 million) tender is part of a drive dubbed "El futuro digital es de todos" ("The digital future belongs to all") designed to connect around half a million low-income households to the internet.
