Colombian 10Mbps-plus broadband lines double YoY - Mintic

The number of Colombian fixed broadband lines at speeds of 10 Mbps or higher rose to 957,496 at the end of the first quarter, almost double the year-earlier total of 510,548 and ten times more than in 2015, according to a report issued by the country's Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism (Mintic). The number of lines delivering speeds of at least 10 Mbps represents 15.8 percent of the broadband total, with 38.0 percent in the 5 to 10Mbps range, 36.6 percent between 2 and 5Mbps, and 9.5 percent under 2Mbps.
