Com Hem apologises for Netgear modem security risk

Com Hem has responded to media reports on 30 October concerning security problems with its Netgear CG3100 modem and has apologised. It said there was a serious problem with the modem in a limited area of Stockholm, and once it was discovered, Com Hem made a change to its network. This remedied the risk of anyone being able to see which websites customers are visiting, or of enticing them to fraudulent pages.
