Playing computer games for up to ten hours a week makes Swedish children happier than those who play no such games, claims Com Hem, citing a survey commissioned from Kantar Sifo. It said seven out of ten children aged 6 to 17 play computer games regularly, and 88 percent who play in moderation enjoy life, which it said is a greater rate of happiness than among minors who play no computer games. When children play more than ten hours a week on their computers, it starts to have a negative effect.
