Comcast Ventures has joined seed round funding for the New york-based startup Blockdaemon, a developer of software to help companies set up their own blockchain nodes. The company raised in total USD 3.275 million, also from Boldstart, MState (backed by IBM), Plug and Play,  and other Silicon Valley investors.

Blockdaemon said it will use the cash to grow in engineering team from 10 to 20 people in the next six months, to enhance infrastructure options, and to help customers run multi-tenant networks across all sorts of different blockchains.
