Commercial, public sectors to drive global AR/VR spending through 2023 - IDC

Global spending on AR and VR is expected to reach USD 160 billion in 2023, up from GBP 16.8 billion forecast for 2019, according to IDC. This equates to a 5-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 78.3 percent for AR/VR spending. Hardware will account for more than half of total spending, followed by software and services.
